Hi all. It has been quite some time. For those of you that don't already know, we FINALLY MADE THE MOVE!!! We moved from North Carolina and are now living happily in Southern California {it is soooo good to be home}. With the move have come many new opportunities, which was part of the motivation to move in the first time. I now have several Antique Flea Market venues in my neck of the woods and couldn't be more excited.
The first venue that we tried was not a huge success. It was a halfhearted attempt to get into the swing of things and might have worked out better had we attended the Sunday venue instead of the Tuesday one but live and learn, right? I just don't think it is the crowd for us, too much new merch and hardly any antique and vintage goodies to be found.
I have lined up 3 other dates so far. The first of which is this Thursday, October 6th at the Redlands Market Night from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm. It is one of the most successful certified farmers markets in Southern California and has been a constant since 1988. There are over 150 vendors on site and of course the many shops. So, if you are in or around the area, I would LOVE LOVE LOVE it if you would stop by and say 'hi'. You can find me at West Citrus Avenue in Redlands!!! Be sure to mention that you read 'Fab Quirks By Annie' or '{quirks' kisses} inspired weddings' and receive a 20% discount off of your entire purchase.
The next 2 dates are at the same venue, the Long Beach Antique Market. Normally held on the 3rd Sunday of the month, Quirks By Annie will be there on the 16th of October. We will also be there on October 30th, The 5th Sunday Super Sale, also referred to as "The Show The Designers Love". My booth will be located in the Red Section for both events. I would love to see you out there, and again just mention that you read 'Fab Quirks By Annie' or '{quirks' kisses} inspired weddings' and receive a 20% discount off of your entire purchase. Click for directions to the Long Beach Veterans Stadium, also click here to receive an instant discount coupon for 10% off admission price.
Some of the items that I will have available at these venues are my Antique/Vintage Windows {both the blank slate and various of creations, such as mirrors; message centers; jewelry organizers; chalkboards, etc.}. I will also have many lovely pieces of depression and vintage glass manufactured by Anchor Hocking, Federal Glass, Fenton, Indiana Glass, and L.E. Smith to name a few. I also plan on having some great antique/vintage china and ceramics, along with some fantastic retro kitchen utensils and decor. I could go on and on but the truck is only so big, you know?! ;)

Hi Annie,
ReplyDeleteI am so excited for you. Can't imagine life without flea and antique markets. I wish you every success and boatloads of fun having it.
Kathryn
Thanks guys!!! Very exciting. The Redlands Market was a little slow going but I think once we have been there for a while it will gain momentum. A week from today is the 1st Long Beach event!!! :)
